EDIT : FIXED (see comments) Hello all ! Like many people, i'm trying to download the update via the launcher. It was maxing out my download speed (10MB/s) when it suddenly dropped to about 50KB/s... Any fix ? I am pretty impatient to play :D
Trying to download the Casino Night DLC for Sonic Generations... Says the offer is not valid in my region?
I'm in Canada, so I don't see why I can't download this. I've tried changing my location settings to the US, but that didn't work. Anything else I can try?
I created this list for new Kiddions users to answer the question "Is this mod safe". Don't use the mod betweenDec 8th - Dec 22ndbecause R* may do a ban wave before and after they drop the December 15th. According to u/kiddion bans don't exist, but his mod may not work after the update. I've started using it again myself and I have had no issues so far. I even got $47 million from the casino rig. Don't be a douche bag. If you go around wrecking the environment for others, you will get reported, and that could lead to being banned. Don't brag about your wealth. A lot of people, especially grinders seem to be really offended by people that use mods. Be careful about who you give money drops to. I think R* can track that Change your Social Club privacy settings so that no one can see how much money you have or where you got it from. I have used the casino rig to get over 200 million. I usually use the "Empty session" option in Kiddions, and then disable the daily limit, and then do max bet on the slot machine. You can do up to 49 million at a time, and then there is a 25 minute cool down period. I've done this 3 times over the course of a couple hours. Keep an eye on the lobby and make sure no other users are in the casino if you do this. The one downside to using the casino method is that R* can tell where you got your money, so when it shows that you got 200 million from the casino, they could be suspicious. Someone suggested leaving the money as chips so they can't see it in your bank account. I started to do this myself for secondary bank account. I think the bunker method might be safer way to get money because I think it would appear to R* that your just grinding. If you're going to raise your RP, do it slowly. I usually raise mine a few points per day while I'm in an empty lobby. I've heard from other other reddit users that because Kiddions is an "external" mod, it's harder to detect. Other mods are "internal" are easier. As of now, Kiddions has not been detected.
I have all the patches needed to play fallout NV installed and am able to start and play it for a bit up till I leave Doc Mitchells office and shortly after that the game camera freezes, stutters, and acts out sometimes freezing the game with it, sometimes continuing the game but only showing the frozen / stuttering screen. The game works all right it seems except for this problem which is causing me a headache I was wondering if any of you more experienced mod users had any solutions for this? Almost all my mods were downloaded using Vortex except Fallout New Vegas Limit Fix which I manually installed with the instructions provided in the description. [FNV] How to fix hitting the memory ceiling? Getting lots of Out of Memory CTDs.
When I was about to start a new playthrough, I initially loaded up heavily on mods. Way too heavily, in hindsight. Had multiple quest mods that added NPCs. Mods like The Living Desert that added even more NPCs. Versions of mods like Uncut Wasteland that adds even MORE NPCs. Had texture packs, as well. (NMC Small and Poco Bueno). Almost immediately I would get hit with an "Out of Memory!" followed by a CTD. Okay, fine, maybe I've got too much intensive stuff going on. I get it. So I got rid of both texture packs, got rid of nearly every major mod I had that added NPCs except for a couple I wanted to keep, and things seemed to be going okay until... Bam. Again. "Out of Memory!" -- CTD. Compared to the load orders I see other people have, I know for a fact my list is light -- In the sense that I don't have many "overhaul" mods, I don't have mods that upscale textures (aside from WRP), and no mods that throw hundreds of NPCs on the screen at once The majority of what I've downloaded are miniscule in both scope and in file size. You'll see in my Mod List below. Most of it is minor mods that either tweak certain gameplay elements, fix certain bugs or issues, or simply add individual items. And I know for a fact that I installed ALL of the essentials correctly (NVSE, NVAC, NVTF, 4GB Patcher, JIP-LN, YUP, JohhnyGuitar NVSE, MCM, etc.), I followed Gopher's 2020 Modding Guide on YouTube to the letter. The only thing I didn't install from his guide was a mod to change the UI -- I had a bad experience trying to mess with installing a UI mod a couple years ago, resulted in me having to uninstall and reinstall my entire game because I screwed up. I've sworn off from UI mods since then, I'm fine with just using the Vanilla UI. I'm not running an ENB, either. Regardless, after about 30 minutes of playtime, or, more often, entering/exiting interiors, I'm quickly greeted with O.O.M. messages. I know that just from taking a first glance at my mod list, it looks like a lot. And yeah, I never said it was a "minimal" load order, but I like to think that it's still a pretty light load, especially since I've seen other people's load orders here. And I've seen the kind of intensive stuff they run in the game. And like I said, I originally had a bunch of stuff like Crowded Casinos, The Living Desert, Less Empty Primm, quest mods like New Vegas bounties, Courier's Cache, Depths of Depravity, etc. --- And all of that stuff has since been cut out of the list in order to lighten the game's strain. Literally the only NPCs I'm adding to the game, at this point, are more raiders in certain locations with Mojave Raiders, more animals in certain areas with Mojave Wildlife, and maybe a couple extra actors through Prerelease Restored and Uncut Wasteland. But surely, that's not enough to be making my game shit the bed, right? What could be going on that's causing these Out of Memory Crashes? My mod manager of choice is Vortex, for reference. Again, I followed Gopher's guide for modding New Vegas, and he used Vortex as well. So if you've got a problem with me using Vortex and wanna tell me all about how I should be using Mod Organizer 2 instead, take it up with Gopher. I personally prefer Vortex anyways. Has never given me more headaches than MO2 did. If anyone has any advice on how to handle this Out of Memory issue, I'm all ears. I've tried to narrow down my mod list to only the stuff I truly desperately want to keep in the game, but if there's something I need to get rid of I'm willing to do so. And I should mention I am playing this game on a gaming laptop that runs both this game and several newer titles perfectly fine. I'm not trying to run this game on a toaster, I have a heavily modded Skyrim Special Edition that also runs just fine, so it's not like my machine has a predisposition against Gamebryo engine, or anything like that. When I first bought new vegas on pc I thought I was going to have a good time. For me the game started out fine I was enjoying it until I realized that I would have to do a dlc to actually afford a weapon that could kill something so I started the dead money dlc. That was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Dead money is awful and is the first time I actually considered killing myself IRL because of the amount of stress that dlc gave me (mainly the armored radios that blended in with the fog). I completed the dead money dlc and made out of the dlc with 3 gold bars which I used to buy a GRA anti material rifle with all the mods you can attach to it (this is important later you will see why). Then I went and did honest hearts which did not have that much of a problem other than the whole environment blends together and the map does not help it that much. After that honest hearts I began losing interest in new vegas. I decided to shelf the dlc for a while to focus on the main quest. I sided with yes man for the main quest and my first stop was to deal with the strip casinos. So I decided to start with the white glove society then move on to the omertas. Everything was going great with the white glove quest until it permanently bugged on me and I did not have a save to fall back to so I just killed everyone in there and when that failed I decided to tell yes man to ignore them and decided to do the same with the omertas. so it was time to do faction quests for the brotherhood, great khans and the boomers and I distinctly remember why I stopped doing each faction quest. I completed the brotherhood questline normally, gave up on the great khans because I had no idea what to do and I stopped doing the boomers because it bugged so I fought my way through the rest of the main quests for yes man and along the way became vilified with ceasers legion (This is where the anti material rifle comes in). So there I was minding my own business wandering the wasteland when 4 legionary assassins pop up out of nowhere and kill me in less than 10 seconds. This pissed me off so much that every time I would be wandering the wastes I would Have the amr equipped. So next thing you know I am just minding my own business and the 4 assassins encounter rolls again and this time I went for headshots with the amr and it barely made a scratch in their health and got killed again. Around this point in the game I noticed the crashes got more and more frequent to the point where I almost always avoided the strip unless I absolutely needed to go there otherwise the game would crash. I tried fixing this by downloading an unofficial patch and for me all it did was make the game more unstable and make red triangles appear everywhere so I gave up on patching the game. it was several months after this where I wanted to complete as much as I could in the game and every time I tried it would negatively resonate with me. At one point I literally had to use the console to give me another plasma caster so I could repair my own because the only guy I could find in theetire game was only going to repair most of its durability for the absolutely bargain price of 15000 caps (which at that point in the game I could only get by gambling and I did not want to spend the time to do that ). It was after that where I decided to shelf new vegas until the summer of last year where I actively tried to get in the game but I got extremely pissed and rage quit because a glitch happened with the cazador poison sound that made it so that it would not stop playing no matter what I did and my last save was an 1h before that. It was also in that playthrough where I realized how boring and uninteresting the story was and in some cases (more specifically lonesome road) it made me stop playing the game for almost 2 weeks and I have never done that with a game before or after new vegas just because of the story. Why people call this game the best fallout game (even without talking about the bugs) is beyond me
First off, I'd like to say thank you to the Fallout Mods community for your help previously in getting my Tale of Two Wastelands to work properly. Been having fun so far. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my Fallout Who Vegas to run with my TTW; I load a savegame or start a new game, and the TARDIS doesn't show up. There is a crack in Doc Mitchell's house so I know the mod itself is working, it's just when the TARDIS is supposed to show up, it doesn't show. I've tried reordering the mods to no avail. If someone could take a look at this and my load order and give me some help, I would be grateful for any help. I've installed the mod limit fix but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I looked up on the FWV mod site and it says something about the initial loading of DLC interfering with the mod, tried deactivating my DLC delay mod in hopes that it'd fix it but to no avail. I've all but accepted that I won't get FWV to run, but I'm asking for help anyways on the slim hope that I might get it to run after all. I've also posted a similar entry over on the Fallout Who thread, but at the prompting of one of the posters there I've decided to post here to get more people to help. If it can be helped, that would be great as I'd love to add being a Time Lord to my repertoire in the game, if not, then at least I tried asking for help. The only thing I can think to get my mod working is to download a savegame that already has the starting quest completed. Thank you for your time in any case.

[FNV] [MODHELP] Constant CTD when starting new game...
G'day, I've installed a lot of mods before and got the game to work in the past, but lately I've done the same thing and I keep CTD whenever I start a new game. I have no idea why the game worked with lots of mods in the past and isn't now. The problem started when I uninstalled the game once due to crashing at Primm, then clean reinstalled with roughly the same mod order while discarding some mods that may have been causing me to crash when entering Primm. Now I can't get in the game at all. I start the game, as soon as I go past the FNV intro, bam, CTD. No error message, nothing, just a crash. I don't know what is causing the crash, but I think it might be some of the mods. I know I will get yelled at for having too many mods, but honestly I don't care at this point, I just want to play some Tale of Two Wastelands... You only need $50,000 to register as a VIP! If you have at least that much, you can register as a VIP for 4 hours and get access to VIP missions (which can be done in an invite only session), giving you a lucrative way to save up.
If you own both a crate warehouse and vehicle warehouse, you could use them together to make more money overtime than you could by using either exclusively. Use your sourcing/exports between crate pickups and sales, and you'll be getting the best of both worlds, gaining from the postive money-making aspects of both.

Gambling
As this is a Casino-centric update, there's plenty of ways to gamble away your hard-grinded money. The gambling in this game centers around a new form of currency, called Chips. These chips are pretty much like real-world gambling chips, with a one-to-one dollar value, except you keep your chips when you leave the casino. Chips are an actual currency in GTA Online, as they can be used to purchase exclusive items from a shop inside the casino, along with being used to bet with when playing the Gambling Games, listed below
Slot Machines: There's plenty of options to choose from, but they all perform the same way. Spend some chips, and let the RNG decide whether or not you earn anything from it.
Blackjack: Casino style blackjack with up to four simultaneous players, all of which play against the dealer. Anyone who beats the dealer individually wins, anyone who the dealer beats individually loses, and if the dealer gets Blackjack (an Ace and 10/face-card), everyone immediately loses. Assuming your initial hand isn't a Blackjack, you have the option of doubling-down, which doubles your initial bet with the caveat of only being able to hit once.
Poker: Three-card poker. You make your bets, check your hand, and similar to Blackjack, each player wins if their hand is better than the dealer's, and the dealer beats whoever has a worse hand than him. While there is no option to double-down, how much you win does depend on how good of a hand you have. The better your hand, the more you win. Also, while you can fold your hand, you lose your initial bet anyway.
Horse Racing: Pretty much standard horse racing bettering. You choose a horse, you put your money down, and if you bet correctly, you get double the amount you bet in return. Otherwise, you just lose the amount you bet.
To gain more chips, there is a counter inside the casino where you can buy them, however you are limited in how many you can buy per day (real-world 24 hours). As standard, you can buy a maximum of 20,000 chips per day, but if you own a penthouse of any tier, you can buy up to 50,000 chips per day. Chips can also be traded in for money, but there does not appear to be a limit on this. No matter how many chips you win from gambling, it appears that you can trade them all in at once for the equivalent dollar value. Lastly, there is the Wheel. It's a roulette wheel that you can only spin once per day, which costs $500 per spin. There are twenty reward slots, and since some rewards are in multiple slots, they have greater chances of being selected. The biggest note about this wheel however is that there is one slot in which you can win a free car! What makes this so significant is that since the car takes a 1/20 slot on the wheel, that means you still have a 5% chance of winning a free high-value vehicle! Compared to most online games, that's pretty much the most generous RNG you can get.

Are there any differences between the penthouses For once, yes! Well, technically... they're the same basic property layout, but each option gives you different addon options.
The Cash Pad: The basic Penthouse with no property addons available . You cannot purchase a garage, extra bedroom, lounge, etc. with the Cash Pad. You can, however, purchase penthouse customizations (colour and wall patterns).
The Party Penthouse: Gives you certain of the addon options: the main Penthouse, the Extra Bedroom, the Lounge Area, the Spa, and the Bar and Party Hub. You are locked to these options, no more, no less.
The High Roller: Gives you all of the property addons as standard, and the most expensive penthouse customization options... this means that you cannot choose your own colour and wall patterns with this version.
The "Design Your Own": ...What should be the standard option. It gives you the basic penthouse and allows you to choose which addons and customizations you want, with an extra cost for each one, of course. Just get this one. You can also renovate this option later, allowing you to purchase more addons and change your customizations later.
What do the Penthouse Addons do?
Lounge Area: Allows you to purchase the other Penthouse Addons (except for the Extra Bedroom and Garage, which are the only items addons that can be purchased without a Lounge).
Media Room: You know the cinemas around Los Santos? The ones that play a few 5 minute animated films on repeat? That, but in a Penthouse.
Spa: Gives you access to a hot tub and a Personal Stylist. The Stylist's services are the same as the ones spread around Los Santos (hair, contacts, and make up), but they're all free.
Bar and Party Hub: Allows you to consume drinks that instantly intoxicate your character, along with access to special arcade games that aren't available anywhere else in the game.
Private Dealer: Allows you to play gambling games in your penthouse.
Office: Adds a standard computer, a Gun Locker, and a money vault (don't get excited, it's just aesthetic).
Extra Bedroom: Bedrooms in owned properties in GTA Online are used as spawn points, so why can you pay to have an extra one? Because you can now allow a friend of yours to claim it! The Extra Bedroom allows a friend of yours to use your penthouse as a spawn apparently, though the exact implementation of this is not completely clear.
Garage: Access to the Penthouse's garage bay.
How do I get the armored car?
To recieve the Enus Paragon R (Armoured), you have to complete the Diamond Casino's mission series, which you must own a penthouse to access. Once of the missions are complete, you'll be given the vehicle for free! But remember, it's uninsured and you only get it once, so immediately go into passive mode and take it to the nearest Los Santos Customs to insure it, or else you could lose the vehicle permanently.
Passive Mode
Good news, passive mode has been fixed!
Passive Mode can now no longer be active when using a weaponized vehicle
A Passive Mode cooldown of 2 minutes is now in place for players who have just killed another player
Players now must wait 5 minutes before they can activate Passive Mode again after disabling it
Players now must wait 30 seconds before they can disable Passive Mode after activating it
These changes make is so that grievers can no longer abuse passive mode, or at least no where near as easily. If you start to get the upper-hand on a griefer and destroy whatever death-machine they're using to troll you, or if you confront them in a death-machine of your own, they can't abuse Passive Mode to try to get the upper-hand on you!
Solo Session
Check the Mega Guide for ways to push yourself into a public Online session with no one else in it. Keep in mind that some missions and abilities are unavailable if there's no one else with you though!
Bugs and Glitches
Apparently on PS4 and Xbox One, you must have full size of GTA V available to download the update, so if you have less than ~60GB free, you may have trouble downloading the update. This does not mean that the entire game is re-downloaded, it just means that the update may not download if you don't have that much space available.
