The Yakuza Remastered Collection is indeed a remaster and not a remake, our technical review tests it against modern standards. The Yakuza Remastered Collection is also a solid choice for those who want to experience the series again even if they have already played these games on PS3. The English localization has been refreshed and this version now closely resembles the original Japanese release. Sega had a lot of trouble localizing the earlier Yakuza games so this collection appears to have taken care of most of the issues. Not only are the graphics improved, but the fighting Fortunately, the Yakuza Remastered Collection is bringing updated versions of Yakuzas 3-5 to PC. Unlike Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2, these games are not remakes, but facelifts of the original games, ported to PC. I had the good fortune of playing through these games on my PS4 last year, and so we’ll be taking a look at both how the ports handle compared to console, and how well the I just finished Yakuza 5 on PS4, played 3-5 on that platform because I did not want to wait for PC versions. Yakuza 6 for me is the only PC version truly worth waiting for as it will run at 60 fps or more. Hopefully its newer engine means it will perform similar to the Kiwami 2 PC version.
